The goal of the Senior Connection is to connect the Seniors in our community (either directly or through their Caregivers) with the Companies and Agencies in Yavapai County that provide products and services to improve their quality of life.

While a large number of products and services do exist in our community to assist Seniors, the problem has been for the Seniors to easily find and connect with you.

The Senior Connection addresses that need. The Senior Connection strives to be the one stop Education and Information center for Seniors and their Caregivers in our community.

We attract Seniors and Caregivers with a Knowledge-Base library of pertinent articles and education information aimed specifically at Senior and Caregiver problems and concerns. The Senior Resources On-Line Directory is available on our website 24 hours a day. We also offer educational and promotional videos and slideshows about Member agencies in the area, and our informational Caregiver Connection Newsletter draws Seniors and Caregivers to our website.

Senior Resources Conference & Expo

One of the many benefits for our Members is participation in a FREE Senior Resources Conference & Expo that the Senior Connection will be putting on two times each year. The first was held in September, 2011, and the next one is currently scheduled for March, 2012. The Expos provide an opportunity for Members to connect with a large portion of this community’s Senior Caregiver population in one convenient location, encouraged to attend through a publicity campaign that includes our newspaper display advertisement that is run every week throughout the year. Quarterly Food for Thought Seminars

Member Mixers

Another benefit of Membership is the opportunity to participate in Member Mixers. These events start at 5 p.m. and last one hour. The Mixers are designed to afford an opportunity to get to know each other better in an informal, after-work environment. Additionally, each Mixer will allow us to examine a specific opportunity to promote community Goodwill to better your company's bottom line through partnering with other members of the Team and other community agencies, should you choose to do so.
